Dorothy was born at Katanning on 14 November 1905. Her maiden name was Solly Her father's name was John Solly and her mother's name was Sarah Barness.
Early Life
Dorothy enlisted with the Royal Australian Navy in Fremantle, as WW2 Service No. WR/258. In 1939 she lived at 980 Hay Street Perth as a Theatre Usher.
Marriage
In 1946 Dorothy married Sydney Godfrey Anderson in Perth.
Residences
According to electoral rolls, in 1949 Dorothy and her husband, Sydney, lived in Leonora where he was a Hotelkeeper. Dorothy lived at 17 Penguin Road Safety Bay in 1949. In 1958, she worked as a Housekeeper at the Exchange Hotel in Pinjarra.
Death
Dorothy died on 31 October 1974 at the age of 68.
