Served with the 125th Australian General Transport Company while it was called the 122nd Reserve Motor Transport Company. Served 1 year and 16 days, discharged on 24 Mar 1942
Post War
Robert had married Lorna Elizabeth Rodgers (27 Nov 1919 - 12 Jun 1981) during 1942. They had three children: William, Terrence and Leonie. In 1949 Robert took over the running of the family farm (Benalla farm, Cranbrook) on his father's death in late 1948.
1954 at Paul's valley via Cranbrook, farmer; 1963 at Willyung road, King river, farmer; 1968 - 1972 at Lower King via Albany, retired; 1977 at 34 Tourist road, Lower King, retired; 1980 at 94 Strelitzia avenue, Forrestfield.
