Early Life
Muriel Alice Frye was born on 24 May 1911.
Marriage
Muriel Bustin married Dennis Frye in 1933. Muriel worked with Dennis at a sick animal dispensary, years before their marriage. On the same day that they were married, Muriel and Dennis set off by ship to live in Kelmscott, WA. The first child of Dennis and Muriel, Marion Olivia Frye, was born in 1935 followed by Wendy Charlotte Frye (Wendy Desmond) in 1943.

Frye Park in Clifton Street, opened in 1972, is named after the Frye family.
