During 1915 Henry married Charlotte Martha Osborne in Perth.

War Service
Henry was taken on the strength of the 2nd VDC Battalion at Armadale on 22 Mar 1942 and had his medical and dental exams at Claremont on the next day. He was discharged at his own request in South Perth on 7 Jan 1944.

Electoral Roll entries: 1943 at Seventh road, Armadale, farmer; 1972 at 14 Durant way, Brentwood, retired.
Charlotte died 28 Oct 1984, aged 88 in Shoalwater Bay
