John Hetherington died at age 49 on 29 May 1906, in Gosnells at his residence on Albany Road (now Albany Highway). John was the husband of Mary Jane Hetherington.
He was buried in the Wesleyan section of Kelmscott Public Cemetery on 30 May 1906.
