Remarks

Her owners were the British India Steam Navigation Company, but on 30 Nov 1917, immediatley following her completion, she was requisitioned by the British Admiralty. After one India round-trip, she was involved in Transatlantic trooping, until the Armistice. SHe then completed a round trip to Australia.


Released to her owners in July 1919, she underwent a refit by her builder prior to resuming commercial service. Sold to Thomas Ward on 13 Jul 1934, she arrived in Inverkeithing a week later for breaking up.
