Pre War
Born May 11th 1900, and thus only just qualified to join the army prior to the war's end. Employed as a clerk by the WA Bank, Kalgoorlie branch.
War Service
Although he signed his enlistment papers on 11 May 1918, his 18th birthday, his medical (completed at Kalgoorlie) wasn't signed off until 19 Aug 1918. Records indicate that he required extensive dental treatment before he would be accepted.
Post War
Electoral Roll entries - 1922 a contractor on Lower Clifton Downs Station (Gascoyne); 1925 a salesman living with mother Marian Gertrude Augusta Cullen at 5 Waugh street, Fremantle.
