Prior to her use in the landings in Borneo, the ship had been used on the Leyte landings in late November 1944, and the Mindanao landings in early March 1945.  After her work in Borneo for a brief time in September 1945 LCI 1075 had been utilised for minesweeping operations in the Kyusu - Korea area.
