Remarks
Hull number 679, and the 105th Liberty ship constructed by California Shipbuilding Corporation. Construction commenced 5 Nov 1942 and she was launched 33 days later on 9 Dec 1942. Luis Aguella's first arrival in Australian waters was on 18 Jan 1943, and from then until 4 Sep 1945 when she arrived at San Francisco she carried cargo from Australia to destinations to its north. Scrapped at Kure, Japan in 1960 despite being built to last only 5 years.
