Built as the Gerona for the Cairn Line but operated by the Cunard Steamship Co, Liverpool as SS Ascania. Wrecked 20 miles (33kms) east of Cape Ray, Newfoundland while on a journey from Liverpool to Montreal in ballast on 13 Jun 1918.
