Remarks
Originally ordered by the Brazilian Navy, she was taken over by the Admiralty on 5 Sep 1939 when WW2 commenced. Renamed Havelock she participated in the ill fated Norwegian Campaign in May 1940 and was assigned to convoy escort and anti-submarine patrols in the North Atlantic until late 1944. SHe was an escort for the Norwegian Government in Exile's return to Norway on 27 ay 1945
Armament:
Guns: 3 × 1 - QF 4.7-inch (120 mm) Mk IX gun; 2 × 4 - .50 cal machine guns;
Torpedoes: 2 × 4 - 21 inch (533 mm) torpedo tubes; and
Depth Charges: 110 × depth charges, 3 rails and 8 throwers.
