Brief History
The War Diary for Southern Command Physical & Recreational Training School begins with the unit in Seymour Racecourse in February 1942, with a last entry in May 1942. However the record of Robert Hynes has him attending a course at the Army School Physical & Recreational Training at Frankston Victoria at roughly the same time. There is no other mention of a Physical & Recreational Training School in the eastern states in Unit War Diaries.
