==Brief History==
During January 1945 at Chermside in Queensland,  the ''2/33rd General Transport Company'' was converted into '''2/41st Transport Platoon''', ''2/42nd Transport Platoon, 2/43rd Transport Platoon, 2/44th Transport Platoon'' and the ''2/33rd Workshop Platoon''. Transport platoons had one officer and 60 other ranks and they included a small workshop section. In July 1945 the 2/41st Platoon moved to Redbank, before rejoining the other unit sin the Company in August at Coorparoo.
