Brief History
As late as July 1942 this unit was still in Egypt before all troops were withdrawn to Australia.
Back in Australia it was established at Lake Barrine in North Queensland. Lake Barrine is a volcanic lake, surrounded by tropical rain forest on the Atherton Tablelands inland from Cairns.
