Brief History

The 52nd Australian Camp Hospital emerged from the amalgamation of 34th Camp Hospital (known earlier as Camp Hospital Wayville) and 32nd Camp Hospital in October 1942. It had 210 beds, which reduced to 30 beds in October 1943. The hopital was disbanded in December 1944.
