Savoy Hotel, Perth

Brief History

Portion of the Savoy Hotel (completed in 1914) in Perth had been set aside for the use of Officers during February 1943. This became Officers Hostel, Perth in June 1943 before being renamed 4th ADCS Officers Club in September and finally 4th AACS Officers Clubfrom February 1944. Later the Army appear to have taken over the entire hotel as nearly 100 Officers were billeted at the club at any one time.

With low Officer numbers in Westen Austalia, it is though to have closed soon after September 1944. The Hotel is Heritage Listed
