Brief History

In December 1941 a section of this unit was mobilised to work with the 13th Australian Infantry Brigade before it transferred to the 4th Infantry Division AASC in April 1942. The unit then remained inactive until it was raised at Chidlows as the 3rd Australian Corps Troops Supply Column in October 1942. A detachment moved to Bushmead in December, and the unit relocated to the Melville camp in January 1943 with a detachment at Morowa. In March the unit was concentrated at Armadale before it moved to Werribee (WA) in April where it was disbanded and the men were transferred to either 37th Coy AASC or the 38th Company AASC.
