Remarks

Initial voyages were carrying troops to North Africa in early 1944. Soon after she was transferred to the Pacific theatre of operations until mid-1945 when she returned to Europe to return troops to the US, and one trip when she redeployed US troops from Europe to the Pacific. The ship also served as a troopship iduring the occupation of Japan, leaving San Francisco 5 Jan 1946, she made four voyages carrying troops to the Pacific. She later served a similar role during the Korean War.
