General Information

This unit was mobilised at Woodside in December 1941 to support the 101st General hsopital. In April 1942 they moved to Malvern and in June they moved to Strathalbyn. In August 1943 the depot moved to Annaburoo in the Northern Territory where they operated with 1,000 beds. In November 1943 they moved to Berry Springs where in May 1944 the depot was reduced to 500 beds, with further bed reduction in December 1944 as the number of troops in the Northern Territory declined.
