Previoously known as the SS Colombia she made 13 war related voyages between the US and Europe/North Africa before she sailed from Seattle on 11 JUl 1944 for the SW pacific where she was based for the next 10 months. Ports visited with cargo or troops include: Points visited include: Morotai, Lae, Oro Bay, Finschhafen, Woendi, Hollandia, Langemak, Aitape, Biak, Wakde, Noemfor, Leyte, Milne Bay, Manus, Manila and Eniwetok.
