In November they moved to Bandiana, leaving 1st Ordnance Vehicle Transit Park at SOuth kensington to receive the vehicles and then to ship them to Bandiana. In November they took over and incorporated 41st AWAS Barracks. When the war ended in AUgust 1945 the unit had grown to 34 officers and 870 other ranks, organised as a HQ, a HQ Company and three vehicle park companies.
