Remarks

Originally built as AV 1354 (Murchison) for the Australian Army. Transferred to the Navy, she was commissioned on 23 May 1945. HMAS Mother Snake served as the Mother Ship to Services Reconnaissance Department craft in Borneo and the Moluccas Islands


In addition to a x 20mm Oerlikon, crew carried machine guns.
