Pre War
War Service
On 16 Jun 1915 at Gallipoli, Thomas was taken on strength by the 11th Battalion. On 17 Jul 1915 he reported sick with a hernia, and was seen by the 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station on 18 Jul 1915 before boarding HMHS Clacton offshore the same day and beign evacuated to Mudros on Lemnos Island.
