Electoral Roll entries - 1903 & 1906 a farmer from Kelmscott; in 1910 & 1916 described as an orchardist
War Service
Discharged 27 Nov 1916. His medical records show that he suffered from 'traumatic arthritis to his right hip. His records in several places are entered with a statement that the discharge was not due to misconduct. (21 years before i.e. In 1895 a horse had run into him and knocked him down. He spent a month in bed and six months off work recovering.)
While he walked with a limp and was generally able to undertake any work, he could not march or turn quickly without pain.
Post War
Electoral Roll entries - 1925 Albert and Dorcas have moved to West Dale, where he remained until his death in 1946. Daughter Alma Catherine (1909 - 2001). Dorcas died 22 Nov 1951, aged 72 years.
