Brief History
This unit was mobilised at Fremantle in December 1941. In April 1942 they moved to Guildford, and then to Moora in July, before returning to Guildford in December 1942. In April 1943 with the exodus of personnel from Western Australia, they moved to Bellevue before moving tothe RAE Training Centre at Kapooka in May 1943 where the unit was disbanded and the men used to reinforce the Railway Construction Companies whic had just returned from the Middle East.
