Remarks
Operated by F Leyland & Co of Liverpool as a cargo ship before WW1. Involved in support of the Gallipoli campaign during 1915 and later transport tasks between the UK and Egypt.
Om 11 Apr 1918 while on a voyage from Alexandria to Marseille with troops and equipment she was torpedoed by U-Boat UB-68 west of Sardinia in the Mediterranean, with the loss of 1 crew member. She was towed into Carloforte Bay on the southern end of Sardinia where repairs were undertaken. However, on 29 Apr 1918 U-Boat UB-48 fired another torpedo at her causing her to be a total loss.
