Brief History
The 6th Field Ambulance was the Field Ambulance Company of the 6th Brigade, which was based on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th Battalions. The 6th Field Ambulance deployed to Gallipoli with the rest of the Division in August 1915, and then to France in 1916.
Fifty Five men died while posted to this unit.
