Brief History
7 AWAS Barrack was formed during November 1942 at Toowoomba to accommodate AWAS staff working at HQ First Australian Army, but moved to Enoggera in December when 3rd AWAS Barrack took their place. At Enoggera they could accommodate up to 100AWAS personnel working in that area before moving to Indooroopilly in July 1945 where they remained for the rest of the war.
