Remarks

Built for the Bibby Line to carry 230 single class passengers.

In 1917 she was requisitioned for troop use, and after taking troops to northern Russia in 1918 she made one voyage to Melbourne, Australia carrying returning troops.

Following her Australian trip she was handed back to her owners who converted her from coal burning to oil burning and she then continued on the UK - Rangoon route until 1930.
