Brief History
The 13th Australian Infantry Brigade HQ Defence Platoon was raised at Melville Camp during January 1942. With its HQs they moved to Chidlows in April, Moora in May, and Bellevue in June. Their last move as a separate Platoon was to Dandaragan in July 1942, after which the platoon was absorbed into the Brigade HQs.
