Brief History
In September 1942a Women's Wing of the 110th Australian Base Hospital was created at Claremont with 50 beds. In February 1943 this was expanded to form the [[1st Australian Women's Hospital. However, in October 1943 they were reabsorbed as a wing of the 110th Australian Base Hospital.
