Brief History

Originally known as the AIF (Middle East) Reinforcement Officers School, it opened at Nuseirat in Palestine in July 1941. In September 1941 they absorbed the AIF (Middle East) Junior Officers School and part of the AIF (Middle East) Small Arms School to form the AIF (Middle East) Regimental Officers School.

November 1941 found them at Latroun, midway between modern day Tel Aviv and Jerusalem before they left the Middle East in the Stepsister convoys in March 1942. On arrival in Adelaide, South Australia in April 1942 they were disbanded.
