During 1932 she was laid up until 1936 when she was transferred to the Brocklebank Line and renamed ''Martand''. She was renamed again in 1938, this time to ''Mar Bianco'' when sold to A. Zanchi of Genoa. She was subsequently bombed and sunk by British aircraft on 7 Dec 1943 off Zara, in modern day Croatia.
