Brief History
This unit was raised in November 1942 at Northam to train recruits for the 5th, 10th, and 19th Australian garrison Battalions that were defending the Western Australian coastline. When troop numbers in Western Australia were reduced, its role was taken over by other units and the unit was disbanded at Northam in June 1943.
