Remarks
Built during World War II she entered service in late 1942 and was assigned to convoy escort duties. In 1943 she swapped to support for amphibious landings throughout the Pacific islands for the rest of the war.
From 1950 until 1952 HMAS Warramunga fought in the Korean War before being converted into an anti-submarine destroyer. Between 1954 and 1959 she completed two tours of duty with the Far East Strategic reserve. Decommissioned in 1959 she was sodl fro scrap in 1963.
