Brief History
This unit, comprised of three platoons, was formed in July 1942 at Melville Camp in Western Australia with personnel initially from the 109th Reserve Motor Transport Company. In March 1943 it moved to Werribee near Wundowie, east of Perth. They carried out general transport duties throughout Western Australia, but with troops numbers declining the unit was disbanded in September 1943. Personnel were used to bring up to strength 137 and 138 General Transport Companies.
