Owned by the Union-Castle Mail Steamship Company of London.
Operated as a Hospital Ship from 22 Jun 1915 till 11 Mar 1919. Medical staff carried included 10 Officers, 15 Nurses and 59 Orderlies/others. Was able to accommodate 18 Officers, 184 Cots, 358 Berths.
On 11 Mar 1919 it was returned to the Union-Castle Line. Scrapped in 1939
