During 1936 Vincent married Annie Mary Jenkins

==War Service==
In July 1941 Vincent had been rejected when he volunteered to join the 2nd AIF. 
Enlisted at Armadale and taken on strength of the [[2nd (Fremantle) VDC Battalion]] on 22 Mar 1942. Appears to have been discharged on 14 Oct 1943 after 1 year and 201 days service due to his being absent without leave.
