==Pre War==
Electoral Roll entries: 1936 - 1937 at North Dandalup, farmer; 1943 at Byford, farmer

==War Service==
First called in on 6 Mar 1941, but as he farmed 150 sheep and was a shearer, it appears that he was deemed to be in a protected occupation. On 22 Mar 1942 Norman enlisted in the Volunteer Defence Corps at Armadale, and was allocated to the [[2nd (Fremantle) VDC Battalion]]. On 1 May 1945 along with the rest of his unit he was placed on the reserve.

==Post War==
During 1953 Norm married Margaret Lilla Fraser (1916 - 2002) in Perth. Margaret died on 13 Dec 2002 in Melville.
