==Remarks==
Built for the Pacific & Orient Steam Navigation Company of London, and designed for the Australian emigrant service via Cape Town.


Leased by the Commonwealth until 10 Sep 1917 during which time it made 6 voyages from Australia with troops.  On 19 Sep 1917 management was transferred to the British Admiralty.  She was a part of the second convoy from Albany in December 1914.


In 1920 the '''Borda''' returned to civilian ownership and returned to Australian service.  Her last trip from Australia was in 1929 after which she was laid up before being sold in August 1930 for scrapping. She sailed to Kobe in Japan where she was demolished.
