Emily Beales (nee Adams) was born in 1877 in Hunslet, Leeds Yorkshire. Emily was the daughter of Thomas and Emily Adams.

==Marriage==
Emily married [[George Beales]] in 1899 Nottingham (England). They had three children, [[George Walker Beales]], Thomas Ross Beales, [[Philip Bruce Beales]].

According to the electoral roll Emily lived at "Keithfield" Roleystone, after arriving in Australia.
