Alfred Gerald Wright Anderson was born on 27 September 1872 in Warwickshire England. His father was Rev. Ebenzer Anderson and his mother Anne Jane Stamp Anderson (nee Wright).
==Marriage==
Alfred was married twice.  His first marriage to Maia "Emma" Louise Antoinette Trossaert, no date given of divorce.  His second marriage to [[Muriel Alice Newman Anderson]] (nee Waddell) on 6 July 1915 at Dunedin New Zealand.  They had 6 children, Victor Gerald, Charles, Claude, Rudolph, Maia and Joan.

According to the electoral roll Alfred lived at Little John Road Armadale in 1931. His occupation was a Farmer. He was also a certified Accountant in Cape Town, South Africa on 2 May 1899.
==Community Involvement==
James was a member of the United Grand Lodge of England Freemason in Cape Town South Africa.

==Death==
Alfred died at Perth Hospital at the age of 63 years on 28 March 1936.

James served as a Private in WW1.  His No. being 452.  He joined on 4 August 1914 and was discharged on 28 January 1915.
