Remarks

A variation of the Vickers Vildebeest it was designed to operate in support of the British Army in the Middle East. They were used to bomb Italian forces during the East Africa Campaign and for coastal patrols from Aden. Also used in the Anglo-Iraqi War of 1941 and while not used in the front line, they were used as late as 1944 to spray locusts in Iran.
