John Wharton Shaw was born in Hawthorn Victoria on 3 February 1897. His parents were Henry Wharton Shaw and Alice Rout.
Marriage
John married Gladys Irene Shaw nee Cross on 21 June 1930 at Holy Trinity Church Kew Victoria. They had 3 daughters and 2 sons.
Community Contribution
In 1954 John was Treasurer of the Roleystone Progress Association and during the 1950's he was an Office Bearer of Federation of Progress Associations.
