John married Gladys Irene Shaw nee Cross on 21 June 1930 at Holy Trinity Church Kew Victoria. They had 3 daughters and 2 sons.

Community Contribution

In 1954 John was Treasurer of the Roleystone Progress Association and during the 1950's he was an Office Bearer of Federation of Progress Associations.
