Pre War
18 year old Henry emigrated on the SS Orsova which departed London on 15 Jan 1915, travelling with his parents Robert and Elizabeth. During 1920 Henry married Winifred Constable in Perth.

On 12 Aug 1941 Henry enlisted with the part time 'Y' (Militia) Company of 5th Australian Garrison Battalion.
