Remarks
The smallest of the vessels chartered by the Commonwealth she was owned by the British India Steam Navigation Co Ltd, London and leased until 4 Aug 1915. In 1917 while back under private control the Chilka caught fire near Gopalpur, was beached and abandoned. 70 lives were lost.
