Remarks
Laid down on 12 Jun 1944, she was completed and commissioned into Navy service on 11 AUg 1944. During World War II USS LST-714 was assigned to the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and participated in the Leyte landings in late November 1944, the Lingayen Gulf landing in early January 1945, Manila Bay operation in late January 1945 and with the Australians landings in Borneo from late June to mid July 1945.
Following the completion of hostilities, this ship was assigned to Occupatiuon and China service in the Far East until 11 May 1946. USS LST 714 was decommissioned on 10 May 1946 and transferred to the US State Department. It is not known how she ended her days.
