Remarks
Built for the Ellerman City Line Ltd of Glasgow. She was sold in 1923 to Montgomery W & Co of London before being bought back by Ellerman Lines in 1937. On 24 Mar 1942 SS City of Hankow arrived in Fremantle from Cochin in Burma, indicating that the entry below involved stops at Cochin and Fremantle ex Middle East. Aboard was a sub unit of the 2/3rd Australian Anti-Aircraft Regiment.
